Effective health commodities management promote efficient health service delivery. It is vital to sensitize health care staff on the benefits of this all-important concept to boost the performance of our health facilities in terms of the service delivery and improving patient outcomes.
The Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network has been in the forefront in supporting church health facilities access quality-assured essential medicines and medical products. One of our initiatives towards this is the East African Pooled Procurement initiative which employs economies of scale to realize affordable, quality medical products that are collectively procured by four Drug Supply Organization members.
