EPN Forum 2010, Nairobi The theme for this year's EPN Forum was "Health System Strengthening: Focus on Pharmaceutical Service Delivery". The Forum was held from March 18th to 19th in Nairobi, Kenya. The overall objective of the meeting was to discuss and deliberate on strategies for building sustainable pharmaceutical systems and for the delivery of quality pharmaceutical services within the church sector. The forum addressed the roles of different sector players in health systems strengthening, issues of financing, service delivery, pharmaceutical work force and governance. It was hoped that the forum would contribute to the growing body of knowledge on strengthening of Church Health Systems in Africa in general but with a particular emphasis on issues that impact on access to medicines and provision of pharmaceutical services.
