We endeavor to promote access to quality health care services by strengthening health systems in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) globally, especially in Africa region. We work with members (both institutions and individuals) and partners whom we share common vision of to promote access to quality pharmaceutical services for all. A large base of our membership is faith-based institutions that support health systems in many of these countries.
In our mission, we;
- enhance professionalism and good governance through training and education of healthcare workers
- strengthen pharmaceutical supply systems to ensure consistent supply of affordable and quality medicines and medical products
- strengthen quality assurance of medicines
- promote safe use of medicine among healthcare workers and medicine users
- advocate for uptake of Covid-19 vaccination
- promotes the adoption of minimum standards of pharmacy practices in healthcare facilities
- support infection prevention and the global efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance
- educate and sensitize general public on safe and essential healthcare practices to prevent or manage diseases
