  • Strengthening collaboration to improve on pharmaceutical supply chain

    In February, EPN hosted a team from Management Sciences for Health (MSH/MTaPs at the EPN Secretariat offices for discussions on various joint collaborations, continued partnership and future potential opportunities in supply chain, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and medicine quality assurance. EPN and MSH have worked together for more than a decade, addressing gaps related to access to quality medicines. Through a USAID-funded project, MSH supported EPN establish a pooled procurement in Cameroon. EPN is a member of the MTaPs program and is committed to contribute with its experience in reaching the last mile.

    The team led by Dr. Aday Adetosoye, Vice President, Global Health Programs Delivery Group, MSH was enthused about the work EPN does and the various training opportunities we offer health care workers.

    Management Sciences for Health (MSH) recently announced that it had been selected by USAID as a winner of the Global Health Supply Chain NextGen Comprehensive Technical Assistance Award. This is considered by EPN as an opportunity for MSH and EPN to foster the collaboration and work with countries to develop the capacity of local systems, networks, institutions, and individuals to sustainably manage supply chains and strengthen local pharmaceutical systems.
