Just and compassionate quality pharmaceutical services for ALL

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is a growing global health crisis, responsible for an estimated 1.27 million deaths annually, with Africa bearing a disproportionate burden. Despite its impact, awareness at the community level remains limited, and behaviours such as inappropriate antibiotic use, self-medication, and incomplete treatment continue to drive resistance. Faith communities are among the most trusted and far-reaching institutions across the continent. The All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), representing over 200 million Christians in 43 countries, is uniquely positioned to mobilize faith leaders to address AMR at community level.

EPN in partnership with All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), Africa Christian Health Association Platform (ACHAP), and ReAct Africa – Action on Antibiotic Resistance, invites you to the official launch of the AMR Sermon Guide for Use by African Churches. This continental webinar brings together faith and health leaders to address one of the most pressing public health challenges of our time; Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and to introduce a practical, faith-based resource to support community action across Africa.
