EPN's new Executive Director effective 01/01/2013

On 1st January 2013, the EPN board appointed Rev. Baraka Kabudi as the new Executive Director of EPN. Donna Kusemererwa will be leaving the EPN secretariat at the end of January, after 4 years of commitment to the Network.

Learning from Sweden - In September 2012, Natalia Cebotarenco from CoRSUM in Moldova, an EPN member, participated in a three day international workshop on the topic of rational use of medicines in Sweden. Ms Cebotarenco was impressed by the lessons learned and asked the EPN Secretariat to share her report on the ‘wise list’, a new approach and concept for the selection of cost-effective essential medicines and to achieve adherence to recommendations.
